How to Request Holiday Gifts

​Holiday gift assistance is available to Crook County households in need,

​

We serve children ages 0-17, seniors age 60 and older, and adults with disabilities ages 18-59.

​

Attestation of need, identification, proof of address in Crook County, and verification of income eligibility are required. Additional verification is required for adults for disabilities.

​​

When you arrive for your holiday gifts, we will ask for the following: valid identification showing a Crook County address and a SNAP eligibility verification letter from ODHS with your name on it. [If you are unable to provide this documentation, please contact us.]

The deadline for requests was November 15, 2024, at 4p.m.

Especially for children:

We are excited to announce the KIDS HOLIDAY MART. Parents and guardians, you'll get to select gifts for your children when you visit us in December. The application has changed. There is a required application, and then an optional survey in which you can tell us about the gifts kids most want or need this holiday season.

Especially for seniors:

We are excited to announce a new partnership between the Prineville Senior Center and the Holiday Partnership. If you receive Home Delivery Meals from the Prineville Senior Center, please do not complete this application. You will receive your application with your meal delivery.

 

Gifts for other seniors age 60 and older, apply here (now closed).

Gifts for adults with disabilities ages 18-59, apply here (now closed).

 

Early application is encouraged as resources may not cover all requests. Completion of the application does not guarantee holiday gifts. We will confirm your request by mailing you a postcard in early December. Distribution takes place December 16-19 at Carey Foster Hall (Crook County Fairgrounds).
